To the genius at Stella Barra who knew my thoughts, heard my prayers, and somehow managed to understand what my soul has needed, I say thank-you. You, the wise experimenter, have crafted a pastry so magical it belongs in a Disney movie. You’ve made a dessert that is a hybrid of my two greatest wants that you have to be a sorcerer of some sorts. Thank-you for making the Chocolate Chip Rice Krispy Treat Cookie ($3.25). Not made with tiny wannabe chocolate chips, but large “this is what I’m talking about” sized chips. Not made with small krispy treats scattered haphazardly throughout the cookie, but big chunks of treats that make a girl shout, “Yes, Lord!”. I appreciate the not-too-chewy cookie, the sweet treats, and most of the colossal size that is this cookie. Thank you for knowing me so well, without even meeting me.
