My ex used to take me out to eat 5-6 days a week and I loved it, I also gained weight until i figured out I had to stop before I was full not wait until I could hardly move. Now that we have broken up I eat out a lot less, I miss is sometimes and have always been curious on how you manage to stay so fit and eat out so much. Great post Danielle 😉

I feel like I get little bits of your backstory and I love piecing it all together. I can see how easy it would be to gain weight if you’re eating out so frequently. But seeing people like you and gigi who have killer workout regimes was really helpful and inspiring to me. And the fact that I couldn’t button my pants played a part in it too!

I love how you’re finding a way to make it work where you feel good about yourself, but you’re still able to do the things you need for your blog. I love exercise and feel it has changed my life in so many ways. I’m excited for you to be experiencing all those benefits too!

Thank you so much, Atim. It definitely feels great so I’m glad I got my workout plan going to be like you and a ton of other fit bloggers I know =]

Great blog post. I am a food/nutrition blogger and registered dietitian-nutritionist. Always teaching my clients about balance, and working dining out with exercise. All foods CAN fit, and you have demonstrated that!

Eeep thank you so much, Michelle. To hear that I’m on the right path from someone like you who knows the fitness industry so well makes me so happy!

OMG. OMG. OMG. OMG. YOU GAVE ME A SHOUT OUT. Do you understand how this makes me feel. I am above and beyond honored right now and dare I say a tear of happiness that I could motivate and give you inspiration is streaming down my face (I kid you not). Danielle, seriously, I adore you. You are such a zany fire that I am addicted to!! I can’t wait for another portion controlled (?? lol) lunch date!!

I’m so late to seeing this and I don’t care if it’s months later but OF COURSE I gave you a shout out, how coud I not have when your work outs push me. Well I’ve slipped off lately, but you gotta know that every time I see you in the gym I second guess the doritos I’, probably eating. Usually I still eat them, but the second thought about not eating them has to count for something right? =p

I hear you girl! I think it all depends on the amount and intensity of exercise you do. Once you get a feel for that, eating out is a treat that’s totally fine!

Love this post oh my goodness, sweetie you look oh so good doing the kickboxing. And I love that slogan tank: I Run Because I Really Like Food. So witty and motivating. I am somewhat of a food lover and I am lucky to be able to practise portion control these days as even though I love food, I dislike the feeling that I get if I overeat. Also, being literally stuck to the chair for the most part working with content had me realized that my metabolism isn’t going to be where it’s as I age. So my mindset is: Do it now when my body can take it. So that I don’t have to struggle to keep it fit in later years. Sometimes a little urgency can help but that depends on personality of course. I love your smile, Danielle. And I really appreciate this type of post as I get to know you better! I love your enthusiasm as always hehee. Just had to drop by really quick after I saw the egg on pizza Insta post because I missed coming here. Stay fiery my darling!! <3 xoxo

Hehe when I saw the tank I knew I had to get it because it’s so perfect for the life I live! But I wish I were like you and knew how to manage portion control and a bit more self control overall but since I can’t working my butt off is the only way I can do it. And it makes me even happier to know that you love this post too. Knowing you like it makes me so so happy!
