That beet latte is so pretty! I’m not sure I could get down with the taste of beets in warm form – though I do love them in smoothies, so maybe I’d be good with the latte. I feel like I need to try to recreate this at home!

I felt the same way, like ehhhh warm beets “no thank you!”. But after trying it, it really wasn’t that bad. If you do your own recipe don’t forget the vanilla, that will make all the difference!

I’m always down for a fun breakfast drink. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, potatoes, eggs, toast, pancakes, waffles, yes please. Oh no not an over-boiled egg, lol, you crack me up. Did you say beet latte! Beet Latte!!!! I’m down to try it. I’m a fan of beets, no they don’t taste great, but I know they are good for me so I stuff them down as fast as I can. Wait a minute….. Creme Brûlée Latte, you are blowing my mind. I’ve never had Quinoa for breakfast, but I’m down to try it.

I remember reading on your blog before about how you love breakfast, so when I wrote this I was like, “Uh-oh, Mary’s gonna know I don’t like breakfast!” lol. Something about how healthy the food was here made me think you would like it. It totally goes in line with your nutrition challenges. Hopefully you can get a beet latte and some quinoa for breakfast and when it happens I hope you love it!

It was a little weird for me at first, but it started to grow on me. If you ever see one, give it a shot and lemme know what you think!

Danielle! Over-boiled eggs take effort! So kudos to you because I won’t even try. Lately, I’ve been drinking tomato juice and some orange juice. If I’m quite dehydrated, I take soy milk and munch of pumpkin seeds. Your over-boiled eggs make for a better breakfast than how I approached mine. Since I start work later in the day, mornings can inspire such an appetite in me but to cook the food myself, heavens NO! This bum can’t take an egg out of the fridge to boil, let alone peel it after it gets over-boiled. Love that zingy comment about the superficial model on the ramp, hahah, you are on fire! Not literally, of course. As usual you delight me with your story and I especially enjoyed the bit about dumping the beet drink into a flower pot nearby. So cute, but I’ll drink it for you if I’m there, you know I would! 😀 xoxo

Oooh shanaz I like the idea of soy milk with pumpkin seeds. That sounds so delicious! And yes a little on fire but thankfully not literally. I love that you love the post and that it made you smile. That makes me so happy!!!<3
